Internship Experience

The Internship Program is designed for Christian young adults, ages 18-25, who are seeking experience in a variety of ministries and/or seeking to grow in their relationship with God while living in an intentional community of believers. The program is a great gateway to gain practical work experience, fill a gap year, or figure out this whole thing called “adulting” by living independently!

How does it work?

The Internship is a great experience that involves meaningful work experience at Fair Havens Camp & Conference Centre all while serving in a christian community that is focussed on personal and spiritual growth. Interns can choose to live on site or opt out of onsite living. Those in staff housing will be given grocery allowance to cover their food costs and learn important skills of independent living. All Interns will be given the opportunity to be challenged in practical life skills such as learning basic financial and auto-mechanic lessons, all while digging deep into God’s word in both small groups and 1:1 discipleship. As a community we also explore what it means to follow Christ daily through Outreach and Community Events. We will be doing a series on developing healthy habits in life to help us develop healthy disciplines (ex. Sabbath, Bible Reading, Prayer, Community, Generosity, etc.). There is also an opportunity to go on a mission trip in January to the Dominican Republic with the Samaritan Foundation! Those in the fall term will be able to join us for this amazing opportunity.
