Thank you for your interest in stepping stones. Below you will find the links and forms you will need to apply to any stepping stones program. Please make sure that you have read the application kit for the program you are interested in before applying. The application kit will give you an outline of the application process, including all information that must to sent. Reference forms need to be completed and sent, by the referee, before an application can be fully processed.

Things You Need to Know

Interview Dates & Locations:
Interviews are conducted in person for first time applicants. Returning applicants will be interviewed by phone or Skype or in person.

Dates and locations will be posted soon, and applicants will be made aware of interview options well in advance.

Arrival & Departure Dates:
Spring Crew - May 6 - June 22
Summer - June 22 - September 2

Boot Camp (May 18-21):
A critical team building and pre-summer bonding time is our stepping stones Boot Camp. This weekend is mandatory for all summer students, so please mark this weekend on your calendar. It is a great time to get to know one another and build the spirit for the summer. There will also be some important sessions and times to meet with departments, on this CAN'T MISS WEEKEND! 

Summer Student Uniforms:
The uniform will be a t-shirt, golf shirt or black short sleeved shirt/blouse with brown/tan or black/grey pants/knee length shorts. FHM will provide the shirts, students must provide their own pants/shorts. Two (2) pairs of each are recommended. Department specific foortwear will be required - i.e. - CSA Approved Safety Shoes for Maintenance, non-slip closed toe footwear for Food Services and Housekeeping/Custodial.

Police Checks:
All summer students are required to present a current Criminal Record check from their local police department.

Accommodations: 
An integral part of the summer is the community that is formed while living together in the various student buildings. All stepping stones students are required to live on grounds for the summer, and will be assigned rooms and roommates based on a Roommate Request Form (Available at Boot Camp-another reason to be at Boot Camp). Males and females live in separate buildings.

Spiritual Growth & Development:
Your summer at FHM should be a place where you grow in your knowledge and experience of God, and in serving and living with others. It is important to nurture your personal spiritual development. Here are some of the Spiritual growth activities that you will be involved in.
